New Product Developer for a leading Retailer with an immediate start!
Please note, this role is a 9 month FTC and is part time, with 3 days a week.

This New Product Developer role is ideal for an individual who wants to lead on hugely exciting NPD opportunities.
Role:
We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Product Development Manager to join in a 9 month FTC (part time) role. The NPD Manager will lead innovation and continuous improvement across a diverse product portfolio. In this role, you'll identify new opportunities for growth, manage product enhancement initiatives, and ensure successful delivery from concept through to launch. Working closely with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders, you'll drive projects at pace while balancing quality, customer needs, and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of new products and range improvement initiatives for the own label portfolio.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of business goals.
- Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
- Support and develop team capability through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to drive effective decision-making and project execution.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in product development within food and ideally within own label.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Track record of successfully delivering product launches and improvement projects.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and product specifications.
- Organised, collaborative, and passionate about delivering innovative products that meet customer needs.
