New Product Development Lead - Bower Collective
Location: Hybrid, with regular travel to Bath Head Office (weekly) and Swindon Warehouse (fortnightly)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Reports To: CEO/ Co-Founder
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000

About the Role
The New Product Development role will work closely with the founders to lead and project manage NPD and existing product development at Bower.
Key Responsibilities
- Project management of the end to end NPD process.
- Project managing product formulations and product testing.
- Strategic input into the product development roadmap, identifying products to launch or improve and running the process to execute.
- Delivering outstanding fragrances in new and existing products.
- Owning formulation development, optimisation and testing.
- Owning development and optimisation of our product packaging.
- Working closely with the marketing team throughout the NPD process from product ideation through to launch campaigns.
- Leading on all product related customer research, testing and insight work.
- Overseeing the P&L for new product launches, managing pricing and COGS, delivering correct margins and managing development costs within budget.
- Working with our purchasing team on the selection of new suppliers.

About You
We are looking for a new product development project manager superstar who comes from a consumer goods background.
Essential:
- You have a minimum of 5 years new product development experience in a consumer goods business.
- You are an exceptional project manager and highly organised.
- You are customer-focused with experience of running consumer testing.
- You have a passion for delivering product excellence.
- You have excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with founders and senior stakeholders.
- You have a passion for sustainability.
Desirable:
- Experience of working in household or personal care products.
- A flair for developing fragrances.
