NPD Project Coordinator / Administrator – Beauty & Personal Care

Location: London

Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home. Beautiful Office.

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000


We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a growing Beauty & Personal Care business based in London.

This is an urgent NPD-focused role, ideal for someone with previous New Product Development experience within the beauty or personal care industry who is looking to continue their career within the sector.

The successful candidate will provide project coordination and administrative support across NPD and existing product development projects, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure projects remain organised, accurately documented and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track multiple NPD projects, ensuring timelines and actions remain on schedule.
  • Maintain accurate project trackers, documentation and project folders.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing samples, approvals and feedback.
  • Liaise with NPD, Marketing, Artwork, Regulatory, QA, Purchasing, Planning and external suppliers.
  • Follow up on actions, deadlines and outstanding information.
  • Coordinate product testing and ensure results and reports are accurately recorded and filed.
  • Manage formula, packaging, labelling and specification documentation.
  • Create and update specification sheets for each project.
  • Coordinate sales samples, including quotations, approvals and delivery timelines.
  • Organise meetings, take minutes and circulate actions.
  • Maintain an organised sample storage area and ensure samples are correctly recorded.
  • Identify and escalate any delays or issues promptly.
  • Provide additional project and administrative support to the wider development team.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous New Product Development (NPD) experience within Beauty or Personal Care is essential.
  • Experience coordinating multiple product development projects.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical, process-focused approach.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working across multiple departments and external suppliers.
  • Highly proactive, motivated and self-driven.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Someone who is genuinely looking to build their career within Beauty & Personal Care.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced NPD professional from the Beauty & Personal Care industry to join a growing business and play an important role in supporting the delivery of new product development projects.

The role is based in London, with a hybrid working pattern of three days in the office and two days working from home.
