Senior NPI Engineer / NPI Manager

The Opportunity
Working across a technically demanding manufacturing environment, you will take ownership of new product introduction activities, coordinating cross functional teams to ensure successful product launch and production readiness. You will work closely with engineering, quality, production, supply chain and commercial teams, driving projects through structured NPI processes while balancing customer expectations, quality requirements, manufacturing capability and commercial objectives.

What We're Looking For
We are interested in individuals who have experience introducing new products into manufacturing environments and understand the challenges of taking products from development through to production. Suitable backgrounds may include:
- NPI Engineer
- Senior NPI Engineer
- NPI Project Engineer
- NPI Manager
- Manufacturing Project Engineer
- Launch Engineer
- Product Introduction Engineer
- Engineering Programme Manager with hands on NPI responsibility
Experience could come from aerospace, defence, medical devices, automotive, electronics, precision engineering, industrial manufacturing, life sciences or other regulated manufacturing sectors.
Most importantly, you will bring:
- Proven New Product Introduction experience within manufacturing
- Strong understanding of structured NPI, APQP, stage gate or product development processes
- The ability to work effectively across engineering, quality and operations teams
- A practical and solutions focused mindset
- High levels of energy, flexibility and personal drive
- Ambition to develop your career within a growing business

Please note: This role is specifically focused on New Product Introduction within a manufacturing environment. Candidates with project management experience who have not led product introduction activities into production are unlikely to be suitable.
