Programme Manager - New Product Introduction (NPI)
Bristol | Hybrid Working | Up to £74,000 + Benefits
Are you an experienced Programme Manager with a background in engineering, technology or product development environments?
We're recruiting on behalf of a globally recognised engineering and technology organisation that develops highly specialised products used within advanced manufacturing and high tech industries worldwide. Renowned for innovation and engineering excellence, the business invests heavily in research and development and is at the forefront of bringing complex new technologies from concept through to market.
The business designs and develops advanced vacuum and abatement solutions that support the production of microchips used in everything from artificial intelligence and data centres to smartphones, electric vehicles and consumer electronics.
Role Overview
As Programme Manager, you'll lead the delivery of multiple New Product Introduction (NPI) programmes, working with cross functional teams across engineering, operations, manufacturing and commercial functions. You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification while managing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex technical programmes from development through to delivery
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, resources and programme performance
- Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Manage project risks, actions, issues and decisions through effective RAID management
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve key programme milestones
- Deliver clear and concise programme reporting to senior stakeholders
- Drive project governance and ensure delivery against agreed objectives
- Provide leadership, coaching and support to project teams
What We're Looking For
- Proven Programme Management or Senior Project Management experience
- Background delivering projects within engineering, manufacturing, technology or R&D environments
- Experience managing complex, multi year technical projects
- Strong budget, resource and schedule management skills
- Demonstrable stakeholder management and influencing capability
- Experience leading cross functional and geographically dispersed teams
- Strong understanding of project governance, risk and change management
- Experience using Microsoft Project or similar planning tools

Required Qualifications
- APM PMQ, PRINCE2 or equivalent Project Management certification
- Degree in Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline
- Experience within NPI, NPD or product development environments
