Role: NPI Project Manager - MedTech

Ref: 7930
Location: Remote, Various: UK, Europe & India
Salary: Competitive (doe) with benefits

Position Overview:

My client is looking for an experienced project manager who has demonstrated effective skills and experience across multiple projects and within a multi project environment. The position is responsible for building project plans with the development team, identifying required resources and planning budget expenditures. The role is also responsible for the reporting of project dates, risks and mitigation actions. Escalation to senior management of risks to project timing and overspends is required along with alternative plans for decision making.

The candidate shall have proven success on NPI projects and experience in bringing a team wider than the core R&D engineers to deliver projects to process, on time, to specification and to costs.

Experience in production is also required for the role, in particular production processes, quality assessments, quality improvements, and production transfers.

A key skill for the role is strong knowledge in project management methodologies. Demonstration of seniority in leading projects is expected and necessary when acting as the lead contact on customer funded projects.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
