The New Propositions Manager – Private Services
The New Propositions Manager – Private Services is responsible for identifying, shaping and developing new private healthcare service opportunities that align with strategic priorities and drive future growth.
This role leads the end-to-end proposition development process — from ideation through to go-to-market — ensuring new services are commercially viable, operationally deliverable, and customer-centric.
Working cross-functionally, the role builds a strong pipeline of opportunities, develops robust value propositions, and ensures new services are launched quickly and effectively.
Primary Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Identify, design and develop new Private Service propositions aligned to strategic priorities and growth ambitions
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new service opportunities, with clear prioritisation and timelines
- Actively seek and develop partnerships with external providers, suppliers and organisations to expand the service portfolio
- Build networks with service suppliers and partners to unlock innovative propositions and new revenue streams
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing services through external partnerships (e.g., ICBs and other healthcare organisations)
- Define clear value propositions, including customer offer, commercial model and key performance indicators (KPIs) for new services
- Ensure propositions are customer-led, differentiated and aligned with market trends and needs
- Own and maintain governance frameworks for new service initiation, ensuring appropriate approvals, risk management and alignment to business standards
- Be responsible for taking new service ideas to market quickly and efficiently, balancing pace with quality and compliance
- Partner with proposition, operations, marketing, supply chain and risk teams to ensure services are viable, achievable and aligned to divisional priorities
- Work cross-functionally across multiple service propositions simultaneously, ensuring effective coordination and delivery
- Support and coordinate Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across different service areas to deliver proposition development and launch
- Track adoption, engagement and early performance of new services, identifying opportunities for optimisation
- Lead proposition enhancements based on customer feedback, store insight and performance data
- Continuously refine and evolve services to improve customer experience, uptake and commercial performance

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
