We are currently recruiting for a Store Facilitator to join our team. This role focuses on the coordination and management of a group of independent and company owned retailers/managers working closely with the Store Launch Manager and merchandising team, to ensure high standards of presentation, compliance and customer experience across our SuperValu, Centra and Mace Stores in Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the relationship between Musgrave Northern Ireland and its retailers.
  • Coordinate store openings, refurbishments, and retail projects.
  • Travel between store locations and work independently as required.
  • Deliver merchandising principles, planogram execution and retail compliance standards.
  • Work closely with the merchandising team, across multiple locations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
  • Ensure all merchandising and operational activities align with company policies, brand standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and customer service
  • Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
  • Support various operational tasks as directed, and other additional responsibilities and duties necessary to support business needs.

What We're Looking For

  • Full, valid UK/EU driving licence.
  • At least 3 years’ relevant proven track record in coordinating retail store openings and refreshes.
  • Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a retail, grocery or FMCG environment.
  • Track record of delivering to agreed performance targets
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • High level of communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and inspire others.
  • Strategic and innovative way of thinking
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial awareness.
  • Customer Centric approach, a passion for retail and a commitment to delivering results through people
  • Understanding of the NI Convenience market
  • Food Safety Qualification, including working knowledge of HACCP
  • Knowledgeable on NI food safety legislation
  • Proven track record in a multi-site retail environment
  • Experience in supporting independent retailers / businesses
