About the Role

As a New Supplies Technical Advisor, you'll play a key role in helping customers connect new properties to the water network. Working within our Customer Hub, you'll manage applications from enquiry through to completion, ensuring customers receive an efficient service and accurate information throughout the process.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Processing new connection applications and quotations.
  • Raising invoices and processing payments.
  • Scheduling appointments and work activities.
  • Supporting customers via phone and email.
  • Maintaining customer and property records.
  • Working closely with developers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure connections are completed successfully.
  • Ensuring accurate information is provided to billing partners within agreed timescales.
  • We also operate a standby rota and this is scheduled for 2 weeks out of every 7.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Experience in a busy office or customer service environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including a good standard of general education.
