Newly Qualified Accountant

MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a leading Northern Ireland hospitality group as they look to appoint a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their growing Finance function in Ballymena.

The Company

Our client is one of Ireland's leading hospitality brands, renowned for delivering a best-in-class luxury experience across an expanding portfolio of high-profile hotels, resorts and hospitality businesses.

As the Group continues to grow, they are looking to appoint a driven Qualified Accountant who is ready to supercharge their career by joining a high-performing finance function and gaining exposure to a genuinely market-leading hospitality business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant looking to take a significant step forward in their career, working closely with senior finance and operational leadership while developing towards a future Finance Manager and senior leadership position.

The Rewards

As the successful Newly Qualified Accountant, you will receive:

  • £40,000- £45,000 Base Salary
  • 5 days per week onsite in Ballymena

The Role

Reporting into the Group Finance function, the Newly Qualified Accountant will initially take ownership of the finance function for one of the Group's established hospitality businesses.

The role will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of monthly reporting packs
  • Preparation of weekly cash flow forecasting
  • Preparation of weekly KPI and revenue reporting
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets
  • Business partner with key stakeholders
  • Other duties outlined in full job description

  • Newly ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or Equivalent
  • Open to practice or industry background
  • Strong IT skills
  • Strong communication & stakeholders management skills
