Are you a newly qualified GP looking for a regular, long-term role where you can build your experience, develop continuity with patients and become part of an established primary care team?
We are working with a well-established GP surgery in South Ockendon, Essex, which is looking for a GP to join the practice on a long-term locum basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified GP who would prefer the security of regular weekly sessions rather than constantly looking for individual locum shifts.
The Role
- £75 per hour
- 2–3 days per week
- Equivalent to 4–6 sessions per week
- Long-term ongoing contract
- Immediate start available
- Regular, consistent weekly work

Who We’re Looking For
This role would particularly suit a newly qualified or early-career GP looking to establish themselves in general practice while retaining the flexibility of locum work.
You will need to:
- Be GMC registered
- Be included on the GP Register
- Be eligible to work independently within UK general practice
- Have appropriate medical indemnity
- Be confident managing a typical general practice caseload
- Have excellent communication and patient-care skills
