Newly Qualified Pharmacist
Stranraer | Full-Time | Permanent
A fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified pharmacist to join a well-established community pharmacy team in Stranraer.
We are looking for a motivated, caring and enthusiastic Newly Qualified Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their pharmacy career who is looking to develop their clinical skills, build strong relationships with patients and become an integral part of a supportive community pharmacy.
The Role
As a Pharmacist, you will play a key role in providing a high-quality, patient-focused pharmacy service. You will work as part of a friendly team while having the opportunity to develop your confidence and professional skills across all aspects of community pharmacy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing professional and clinically effective pharmaceutical care
- Dispensing prescriptions accurately and safely
- Supporting the delivery of NHS and pharmacy services
- Providing advice and guidance to patients on medicines and healthcare
- Carrying out clinical checks and ensuring appropriate use of medicines
- Working closely with the pharmacy team and other healthcare professionals
- Maintaining high standards of patient safety and professional practice
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy

About You
We would love to hear from you if you are:
- A GPhC-registered pharmacist or newly qualified and awaiting registration
- Passionate about patient care and delivering an excellent pharmacy service
- Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with patients and colleagues
- Organised, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Keen to continue learning and developing professionally
- Looking for a long-term opportunity within community pharmacy
