Company Description

A Little Wiser Newsletter is a microlearning publication designed to replace unproductive doomscrolling with focused, bite-sized learning. Subscribers receive three concise lessons, three times a week, helping them steadily grow their knowledge and insight. The newsletter is crafted to be engaging, accessible, and easy to fit into busy schedules.

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Newsletter Writer. The Newsletter Writer will research and develop short-form educational content aligned with the newsletter’s themes and audience interests. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring clarity and accuracy

Qualifications

  • Strong writing and editing skills, with experience crafting concise, engaging content suitable for newsletters or other short-form formats.
  • Ability to conduct clear, focused research and translate complex ideas into simple, actionable lessons for a general audience.
  • Comfort with digital tools used for content creation and email publishing platforms.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to meet frequent deadlines in a remote, independent work environment.
  • Strong command of en_US grammar and style, attention to detail, and a commitment to inclusive, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory language.

Compensation

  • $20–25 per issue paid ongoing
  • Remote, flexible hours (~6–10 hrs/week)
  • First issue is a paid trial at full rate, then we move into the ongoing arrangement.
