Job Description
The Next Gen Full-Stack Intermediate Engineer contributes to the design, development, and delivery of Syspro’s next-generation software platform, building modern, scalable web applications that span front-end user experiences and back-end services. Reporting to the Head of Innovation, the role operates within a forward-looking engineering team focused on delivering innovation across Syspro’s evolving product suite, ensuring solutions are robust, maintainable, and enterprise-grade. The role remains primarily a full-stack engineering position, with a strong focus on building scalable front-end and back-end software features. AI-related work will mainly involve integrating and productising AI capabilities into the Next Gen platform, rather than owning AI/ML model development or AI strategy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
