About the Role
This is a dynamic department, and the successful applicant will be required to contribute to ongoing service development. We expect involvement in our existing quality improvement projects and also welcome ideas for new work streams. We strongly encourage leadership development. There is a trust leadership programme in place and study leave is encouraged for this. We also believe in maintaining work life balance.

The obstetrics and gynaecology medical workforce is currently comprised of 11 consultants and 1 associate specialists who provide essential patient led services.
Airedale General Hospital work jointly with other local NHS providers in the region, including Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Bradford District Care Trust, to help ensure we can deliver a patient led collaborative service and thereby promoting a culture of safety and improvement.

Responsibilities
Provide clinical expertise and responsibility to the service in terms of knowledge, clinical activity and guidance as needed
Clinical and administrative responsibility for the proper functioning of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department
