Where you'll be working:

We work covering Southwest England and providing reablement Support and End of Live Care to people in their own homes.

As An Agincare Employee You'll Enjoy

  • Guaranteed Minimum 30 hours over 4 days

What is required from you?

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
  • Over the age of 21 (Due to the rules set by our car hire providers)
  • You must have held a full driving licence in UK for more than twelve months and be willing to drive in the UK
  • 6 Months Care Experience in the UK
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility to relocate to different locations as and when required
  • A positive, professional & empathetic approach

The role of a Project Care Assistant

This is an exciting and fulfilling opportunity. You will be working alongside different NHS trusts and councils, supporting people with reablement and end of life care in their own homes after being discharged from hospital. This is a community-based role where no two days are the same.

You will be supporting clients with a range of daily activities including

  • Companionship - providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
  • Personal care - supporting with a wash, bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
  • Meals – supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
  • Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
  • Mobility - supporting the client to live as independently as possible.
  • EOL - emotional support
