NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Honorary - Agenda for Change (AFC)

Before submitting an application, you must already have the approval from the NHSGGC Hosting department for this role.

You Will Need The Following

  • Rational for the role
  • Your details: home address, email address etc
  • Details of the role: location, hours, working days, job title etc
  • Relevant contacts: GGC Line manager and their email, and the Director/Clinical Service or General Manager and their email address

Please Note

  • Honorary roles are unpaid.
  • If you work within NHS Scotland, some checks can be waived.
  • Pre-employment checks can take around 4 weeks to be completed, please bear this in mind when confirming the start date and prior to submitting an application.
  • We will get in touch with your NHSGGC contacts/hosting department to verify the details provided and the approval before the checks can commence.
  • The role duration cannot be open-ended.
  • Extensions are managed by the HR Department. Please raise a ticket via their portal.
  • Email address and mandatory Learnpro/Induction modules will be facilitated by your NHSGGC Hosting department.
