Night Care Assistant - £12.71/hr | 30 Hours | Set Rota

Alexandra House | My Choice Healthcare

  • Location: Alexandra House, Poyner Road, Ludlow, Shropshire, SY8 1QT
  • Pay: £12.71 per hour
  • Hours: 30 hours per week, less unpaid breaks Shift: 10pm - 8am
  • Job Type: Permanent, Part-time

At Alexandra House, we're looking for a kind, reliable and compassionate Night Care Assistant to join our friendly team.

Our home supports 20 residents and we're looking for someone who can help make their nights feel safe, comfortable and reassured. Whether it's offering a helping hand, a listening ear or simply being there when someone needs you, the little things really do make a difference.

Your Working Hours

You'll work three nights per week, from 10pm to 8am, on a two-week rolling rota:

  • Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
  • Week 2: Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Each shift includes a 20-minute unpaid break.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing compassionate, person-centred care and support throughout the night.
  • Supporting residents with personal care, comfort and their individual needs.
  • Helping residents feel safe, settled and reassured.
  • Working alongside your colleagues to deliver high-quality care.
  • Completing cleaning and laundry duties to help keep our home comfortable and welcoming.

Previous care experience is welcomed, particularly in a residential or dementia care setting, but above all, we're looking for someone with the right attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference.
