Night Care Assistant
We are actively looking for a night care assistant, to work on site at our Audley Village, to support our owners who live in their own homes within our village. You’ll play an important part in ensuring our owners are safe, comfortable and cared for throughout the night.
The hours for this role are 8pm to 8am waking night shifts to include every other weekend.
We’ll look to you to personally deliver care, the Audley way, to our customers in their own homes based on our luxury retirement village. Through our Audley Academy, we’ll give you all of the training and support you need so that you can provide care that’s full of empathy, understanding, and respect. In return, we’ll take equally good care of you. With a competitive salary, smart uniforms, paid holiday, Medicash plan and discounts on a range of local and national retailers all come as standard.
All of our customers are unique – so they all have different needs. Working from specially prepared personal care plans, you’ll help out with a huge range of tasks – making sure everything’s done exactly as your customers like it. Some will need your help with getting washed and dressed and delivering personal care, Others might need a hand with the laundry or taking their medications correctly. No two days will be the same, but whatever you’re doing, you’ll take a real sense of pride in delivering care that sets the standard.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
