Prime Life is seeking passionate and dedicated care professionals to join our team as a Night Care Assistant, on a full or part-time basis. We have several vacancies available and are eager to meet with candidates for interviews as soon as possible.

Location:
This role is based at Phoenix Park Care Village, in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire. The Care Village is designed to meet the needs of 146 residents across three buildings. Our residents live with various age-related health conditions, physical disabilities, and mental health conditions that require dignified support. Many also live with Dementia and may need personal support to maintain daily independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting residents with personal hygiene and retiring to bed.
  • Completing routine welfare checks throughout the night.
  • Supporting residents to dine and maintain good nutrition and hydration.
  • Encouraging residents to mobilize safely with the support of mobility aids.
  • Providing friendship and companionship.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely written records.
  • Engaging with other care professionals to promote resident well-being.
  • Welcoming family members and assisting with enquiries.

Requirements:

  • Genuine caring nature and a desire to make a difference.
  • Patience, understanding, and respect for residents’ individual abilities.
  • Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
