Night Care Assistant – Meadowcroft
📍 Location: Meadowcroft Care Home, Shoreham-on-Sea
💰 Pay: £13.70 per hour + weekend enhancement
🕒 Hours: 24 hours per week
📅 Working pattern: Monday - Sunday 8pm–8am (alternate weekends)

Are you an experienced Care Assistant looking for a rewarding night role where you can make a real difference to people’s lives?
We’re looking for a Night Care Assistant to join the friendly team at Meadowcroft Care Home in Shoreham-on-Sea. Meadowcroft is a 20-bed residential care home providing high-quality, person-centred care for older adults. We support residents living with dementia, as well as providing palliative and respite care, all within a warm and homely environment.
Our residents are at the heart of everything we do. From enjoying Sunday roasts and summer BBQs to trips out, hobbies, family visits, and plenty of tea and cake, we want our residents to enjoy life and make meaningful memories.
About the role
As a Night Care Assistant, you’ll play an important part in making sure our residents are safe, comfortable, and well supported throughout the night.
Your role will include:
- Providing personal care and support while promoting dignity, independence, and choice
- Carrying out regular night checks and responding to residents’ needs
- Supporting with mobility, toileting, and repositioning where required
- Supporting with medication in line with your training and residents’ care plans
- Monitoring residents’ wellbeing and reporting any concerns
- Providing reassurance and emotional support when residents are unsettled or anxious
- Completing accurate care records and night reports
- Helping to maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment
- Working closely with colleagues and management to provide consistent, high-quality care
