About the Role
As a Night Care Worker, you will provide essential support to younger adults with complex needs during the night. Your role will ensure that individuals feel safe, comfortable, and valued. This is a rewarding opportunity where every night presents a chance to make a positive impact on someone’s life.
In This Role, You Will
- Deliver personal care tasks as outlined in care plans, including washing, dressing, and mobility support.
- Monitor and record changes in service users’ needs, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Support individuals throughout the night with regular checks and personal care needs.
- Undertake domestic tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment in line with infection control regulations.
- Respond to emergencies and report to senior staff as necessary.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions during the day to enhance your skills and knowledge.

To Thrive In This Role, You Will Need
- A working knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and understanding of restrictive practices.
- Experience in supporting individuals with behaviours of concern, following Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans.
- A willingness to complete the Care Certificate and work towards a Diploma Level 2 (or NVQ).
- Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
