Role Description

The Night Cleaning Manager is a full-time on-site role based in Feltham, responsible for overseeing night cleaning operations to ensure all areas are cleaned to agreed standards. This role includes:

  • Planning and allocating nightly cleaning tasks
  • Supervising cleaning staff
  • Monitoring performance and attendance
  • Inspecting facilities regularly
  • Addressing any issues or customer feedback
  • Ensuring that cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and maintained properly

  • Coordinating with daytime management
  • Reporting on work completed
  • Making continuous improvements to cleaning processes and schedules

Qualifications

  • Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance and safe use of cleaning tools, machinery, and materials.
  • Experience with facility management or facilities operations, particularly in cleaning and hygiene standards.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, management, and clients.
  • Previous experience in cleaning or facilities management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Ability to work night shifts on-site in Feltham, with reliable time management and attendance.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations, including safe chemical handling and workplace safety practices.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain consistent cleaning quality across multiple areas.

Additional Requirements

  • Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene and Level 2 HACCP
  • Food industry experience is essential with a comprehensive understanding of “High “Risk” operations
  • Proven experience of leadership and management of large teams
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of food legislation and regulations for the UK
  • Computer literate and good data management skills
  • Results focused and the ability to influence others
  • Confident communicator across all levels
  • Strong organisational skills to meet the demands of a 24/7 business
  • Flexible to work hours as required
  • Strong understanding of cleaning processes, audits, and operational standards
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety and COSHH regulations
