Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch

Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Night Concierge to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.

About the Hotel

Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

The Night Concierge serves as a discreet ambassador of the hotel, acting as the principal point of contact for Guests and VIPs during evening and overnight periods. With precision, composure, and impeccable attention to detail, you will curate seamless experiences while safeguarding comfort, privacy, and security.

As the Night Concierge, you will shape both the final impressions of a guest’s evening and the first moments of their morning. You will provide highly personalised assistance, anticipate needs, and ensure continuity of luxury service throughout the night. Serving as a key point of contact for Guests, responding to enquiries efficiently, courteously, and with attention to detail

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as the primary overnight contact for Guests and VIPs, responding to enquiries with efficiency, warmth, and refined judgement
  • Delivering bespoke recommendations and arranging services including dining, transportation, theatre tickets, medical assistance, and concierge requests during night hours
  • Managing and accurately handling Guest messages, parcels, and confidential correspondence with discretion
  • Coordinating the secure handling, storage, and retrieval of Guest luggage and valuables
  • Maintaining detailed awareness of VIP arrivals, daily briefs, special requests, and notable events
  • Ensuring lobby, entrance, and front-of-house areas remain immaculate, calm, and welcoming throughout the night
  • Supporting Management and Security teams, responding confidently and professionally to any emergency or sensitive situation
  • Presenting an impeccable, polished image that reflects the standards of ultra-luxury hospitality
  • Upholding cleanliness, safety, and organisation of all concierge and front-of-house workspaces
  • Strictly adhering to brand standards, policies, and procedures when operating front-office systems and equipment

What We Are Looking For?

A Night Concierge within a Hilton luxury brand consistently acts in the best interests of our Guests, while collaborating seamlessly with colleagues across departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • An elegant, composed demeanour with exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • A sincere commitment to delivering intuitive, personalised, and anticipatory service
  • Impeccable grooming, posture, and professional presentation at all times
  • Calm decision-making and adaptability in unexpected or high-pressure situations
  • The ability to work independently with confidence during overnight operations
  • In-depth knowledge of the local area, including culture, dining, entertainment, and luxury services

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Previous experience in a Concierge or Front Office role within a luxury or five-star hospitality environment is highly desirable
  • Exposure to overnight or autonomous operational shifts within a hotel setting
