DEVELOPMENT DETAILS
Set in a prominent mixed-use destination in Birmingham’s city centre, this development brings together around 350 modern apartments with a buzzing urban setting on the doorstep. You’ll be part of a professional concierge operation supporting a diverse resident community, with secure entry systems and lift-served buildings. Brindleyplace, the Mailbox and a wealth of city amenities are a short stroll away, and Birmingham New Street station is close by—creating a dynamic, well-connected environment where every night brings something new.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
You will be the overnight point of contact for residents and visitors, maintaining a safe, calm and welcoming environment throughout the night. You’ll oversee access control, complete building checks, handle enquiries, and coordinate responses to issues to ensure standards are consistently high by morning handover.

How You'll Spend Most Of Your Time
- Monitoring and managing access control, signing visitors in and out, and issuing keys/fobs.
- Conducting regular patrols, safety checks and documenting findings in nightly reports.
- Responding to resident enquiries via phone, email and in person, resolving or escalating as needed.
- Coordinating contractors, deliveries and late arrivals, ensuring site procedures are followed.
- Maintaining the reception and lobby areas to a high standard of presentation.
- Completing incident logs, handing over detailed updates to the morning team.

- You have a meticulous approach to procedures and record keeping, especially around security.
- You communicate clearly and courteously, even under pressure or at unsociable hours.
- You’re reliable, punctual and comfortable working independently through the night.
- You take pride in your environment and uphold high standards of professionalism.
Experience That Helps
- Previous concierge, security, front-of-house or hospitality roles in residential or hotel settings.
- Experience using access control systems, radios, incident logging and basic IT tools.
- Exposure to emergency procedures and coordinating responses with external partners.
- Customer service roles where you handled enquiries and resolved issues in real-time.
- Working within a large development or multi-building environment.
