Night Concierge at Urbanest
Location: Battersea, Vauxhall, Hoxton Salary: £32,010 per annum plus benefits Hours: 42 hours per week (12-hour night shifts, 8pm–8am, 4 days on/4 days off). Weekends and bank holidays may be required on a rota basis.
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Night Concierge. In this dynamic role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for residents and guests, delivering outstanding service while ensuring a safe, clean, comfortable living environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for residents and guests, offering exceptional assistance.
- Provide timely solutions to resident concerns, including coordinating maintenance issues.
- Operational & Maintenance Tasks
- Manage parcels, post queries, and loan items (e.g., hoovers, fans, ironing boards).
- Conduct building walks, performing inspections in communal areas (lifts, plant rooms, bin stores).
- Ensure hygiene and cleanliness checks in resident flats as required.
- Wear lone-working devices for safety during shifts.
- Oversee property bin stores to ensure cleanliness and proper contractor collection.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Maintenance and Customer Support teams to resolve issues 24/7.
- Assist with onboarding new team members and leading successful shift handovers.
- Safety & Compliance
- Handle emergencies promptly and communicate effectively with emergency services.
- Adhere to Health & Safety and Fire Safety procedures while complying with GDPR.
- Complete on-the-job training, including IT Resident reporting systems.

Requirements & Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a proactive, solution-focused attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience working in 12-hour night shifts is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Must carry a lone-working device and prioritise personal safety.
- Knowledge of fire and health safety procedures.
