ROLE EXPECTATIONS
You will be the overnight point of contact and reassurance for residents, providing a polished welcome, proactive support and a safe, well-managed environment. Most nights you’ll monitor security and building systems, handle deliveries and access, manage enquiries, and coordinate any incidents or contractors with calm efficiency.
What Success Looks Like
- Residents feel known by name and supported with swift, accurate responses at any hour.
- The reception, lobby and canalside areas remain immaculate, calm and well-presented throughout the night.
- Access, keys and deliveries are managed flawlessly, with clear records and zero lost items.
- Building and CCTV checks are completed on schedule, with issues spotted early and escalated promptly.
- Incidents are handled professionally, documented clearly and resolved with minimal disruption.
- Handovers are crisp and complete, enabling seamless continuity between shifts.

How You'll Spend Most Of Your Time
- Greeting residents and visitors, managing enquiries and providing local and travel information.
- Conducting regular patrols, monitoring CCTV and logging all checks and incidents.
- Overseeing key control, contractor access and overnight deliveries with accurate record-keeping.
- Keeping reception and communal areas tidy, safe and welcoming.
- Coordinating with building management and emergency services when required.
- Completing nightly reports and delivering thorough shift handovers.
Who This Role Is For
- You take pride in delivering thoughtful, people-first service and building strong resident relationships.
- You stay composed and solution-focused when the unexpected happens.
- You’re detail-driven, organised and diligent with logs, keys and compliance checks.
- You are confident using building systems, radios and Microsoft Office to record and communicate clearly.
- You’re reliable, punctual and comfortable working a consistent night shift pattern.
Experience That Helps
- Previous concierge, front-of-house, hotel night audit or security reception experience.
- Experience in luxury residential, hospitality, corporate reception or customer service roles.
- Familiarity with CCTV monitoring, incident reporting and health and safety procedures.
- Comfortable working alone overnight and coordinating with off-site support teams.
- Knowledge of the Paddington/West End area, transport links and local amenities.
