Night Concierge
Salary: £18,639 (consisting of £7,018 pro rata salary and sleep in payments of £63.63 per sleep-in)
Location: Heenan Court, Worcester
Basis: Fixed Term Until 26th February 2027, part-time working average 10.5 hours per week

We have an opportunity for a Night Concierge to join our specialist housing team based at Heenan Court, Worcester.
This role is on fixed term contract until 26th February 2027.
What could you be doing?
You will provide a night concierge and cleaning service. Heenan Court consists of 19 self-contained studio flats providing short-term “move on” accommodation for previously homeless adults.
The main purpose of this role is to ensure the safety of residents, provide security for the building and undertake cleaning to all communal areas. During quieter periods you also need to be proactive to ensure other necessary tasks are complete.
The role will be predominantly solo working, with the exception of handover time, team meetings and occasional collaboration with other teams, so you must be a confident lone worker who can prioritise tasks.

The hours for this role are 10.5 per week. This includes sleep-ins, which are paid additionally at £63.63 per night, and requires flexible working on a 4-week rolling rota. A typical shift will be working 9pm to 12pm, followed by a sleep-in shift until 7am the following morning. Over a 4-week period, you will work 14 shifts, which all include sleep-ins.
What are somethings that we need from you?
- An awareness of working with vulnerable Adults would be desirable.
- The ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
- Great interpersonal skills and used to communicating with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience of working in a customer-facing role in a Housing organisation.
- Keen to deliver high standards with an ability to look to improve services too.
- Confidence using digital devices, ICT software and systems.
- Comfortable with lone-working, whilst also working as part of a wider team.
- Due to the travel to offices and other facilities, a driving licence and use of your own vehicle or alternative means of getting to the required locations is essential. You will also need to be based in Worcestershire.
- An Enhanced DBS check is also required for this role.
