Night Depot Manager

West Midlands | £55,000–£60,000 + Package | Monday–Friday

Phoenix Talent Network is supporting a successful and growing logistics business with the appointment of a Night Depot Manager.

This is a senior operational role within a high-volume, multi-shed logistics operation, with responsibility for leading the night operation and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles, freight and people.

The Role

  • Lead and develop the night operations team
  • Take overall responsibility for operational performance overnight
  • Manage HGV movements, yard activity and vehicle flow
  • Oversee inbound, outbound, loading and cross-dock operations
  • Allocate labour, resources and MHE effectively
  • Maintain high standards of H&S, compliance and operational discipline
  • Monitor KPIs, productivity and service performance
  • Identify and implement operational improvements
  • Work closely with day management to ensure a seamless handover
  • Make confident operational decisions independently overnight

Package

  • £55,000–£60,000 plus bonus
