The Role
Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about creating a welcoming environment? We are looking for a dedicated Night Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our luxury standards through the night, ensuring our guest bedrooms, cottages, and beautiful front-of-house areas look immaculate and inviting.
As part of your duties, you will also provide essential night porter holiday cover as required. We are looking for someone with an exceptional eye for detail and a true sense of pride in their work.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Elevating the Space: Cleaning and servicing guest bedrooms, cottages, and public areas overnight to maintain our exceptionally high standards of presentation.
- Night Porter Cover: Providing reliable holiday cover for night porter duties, ensuring the safety, security, and smooth running of the hotel through the night hours.
- Behind-the-Scenes Care: Assisting with cleaning, pressing, and folding linen, as well as keeping all areas well-stocked with essential supplies.
- Eco-Friendly Efficiency: Helping to strip beds, deliver fresh linen, and manage rubbish and recycling in line with our green, sustainable practices.
What We Are Looking For
- Good attention to detail and a genuine pride in your work, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness at all times.
- A friendly, professional attitude with the ability to work efficiently, both independently during night shifts and as part of a close-knit team.
- Contract & Flexibility: A 40-hour contract based on 4 days over 7 days (though this can be discussed for the right applicant). Flexibility is required to cover night shifts and night porter holiday cover when needed.
