Night Hygiene Manager
Malton
Monday to Friday
Salary up to £55,000

We’re looking for a Night Hygiene Manager to lead our night hygiene operation, ensuring our site, equipment and production areas are cleaned safely, effectively and to the highest standards.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead, motivate and develop the night hygiene team.
- Ensure cleaning schedules are completed safely, on time and to standard.
- Champion food safety, hygiene and health & safety across the site.
- Plan and manage staffing, including agency cover and holidays.
- Train, coach and assess team members to ensure competency.
- Monitor hygiene standards, microbiological results and documentation.
- Work closely with Production, Technical and Maintenance teams to keep the site safe and operational.
- Manage performance fairly and consistently, including return-to-work and disciplinary processes.
- Ensure correct use of chemicals, PPE, equipment and hygiene procedures.
- Deliver a thorough handover to the incoming shift, highlighting any cleanliness, food safety or foreign body risks.

Experience within a food manufacturing, hygiene or FMCG environment would be advantageous, alongside an understanding of HACCP, contamination risks, cleaning chemicals and hygiene standards.
