Night Kitchen Porter
Location: Albert's Didsbury
Position Type: Part Time / Full Time
Experience: 1 Year Experience
Salary: Up to £13 / Hour
Job Description Are you a night owl with a knack for keeping things organised and tidy? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being an essential part of a dedicated team? Join our team at Albert's Didsbury as our new Night Kitchen Porter.
What will you get up to?
- Ensure the kitchen is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised at the end of each shift, following established cleaning protocols.
- Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, ensuring they are ready for use during the next service.
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen equipment, including stovetops, ovens, grills, and prep stations.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed to prevent overflow and maintain a hygienic environment.
- Sweep and mop floors to eliminate spills and debris, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
- Support the closing procedures of the kitchen, including covering and storing food items properly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and waste disposal.
- Communicate any maintenance or repair needs to the management team.
