Night Manager

The Twenty Two London Hotel

Skills: Fast-Paced Experience

About The Twenty Two

The Twenty Two is a private members' club and hotel set within a Grade II listed townhouse on Grosvenor Square, with a second property in New York. Behind the door is a world of exceptional design, celebrated food and drink, and a membership drawn from across the arts, business and culture. We are known for warmth as much as for polish, and for treating every member and guest as though they are arriving at a home rather than a hotel.

The Role

The Night Manager holds the building overnight. From the close of service until the morning team arrives, you are the senior person on site and the decision maker for anything that happens, whether that is a late arrival, a member who needs looking after, a maintenance fault or an emergency. You will also complete the night audit and hand over a property that is accurate, secure and ready for the day ahead.

It is a role that asks for judgement, self sufficiency and a very steady temperament.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Taking charge of the property overnight as the senior manager on duty, leading the night team across Front Desk, Security and Night Porters
  • Welcoming late arrivals and departures personally, and looking after members and residents through the small hours with discretion and care
  • Completing the night audit, including revenue reconciliation, posting checks, system rollover and production of daily reporting for the Executive team
  • Managing cash handling, floats, banking and billing accuracy in line with our financial controls
  • Acting as the duty manager for all incidents overnight, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, evacuations, intruders and guest conflict, and taking the decisions those situations require
  • Conducting and overseeing building patrols, checking fire exits, plant areas, public spaces and security coverage
  • Liaising with the emergency services where necessary and recording incidents fully and accurately
  • Overseeing overnight maintenance, deep cleaning and contractor access, and minimising disruption to residents and members
  • Preparing the property for the day, including arrivals, VIP checks and readiness of public areas
  • Delivering a clear and complete handover to the morning team and to Heads of Department
  • Supporting the training, supervision and wellbeing of the night team, and contributing to rotas and performance conversations
  • Upholding fire safety, health and safety, licensing and data protection requirements at all times

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
