The award-winning Fife Arms Hotel

Located in the beautiful village of Braemar in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Night Manager to join our team.

We are looking for a hospitality professional with experience in a similar role, a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, and the ambition to develop their career within a truly unique hotel and stunning setting.

About The Role

As Night Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, safe and efficient operation of the hotel overnight. You will be responsible for guest care, security, operational administration and maintaining our high standards throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and security of guests, team members and the hotel through regular patrols, checking that doors are secure, fire doors are closed and all health and safety standards are maintained.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the Front Desk throughout the night.
  • Complete all night management duties, including the night audit, reviewing paymasters and checking guest billing.
  • Ensure public areas remain clean, presentable and welcoming.
  • Provide overnight support for reservations enquiries in the absence of the Reservations Team.
  • Take personal responsibility for the application and implementation of the hotel's Health & Safety policies and procedures.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within a similar role in a luxury five-star hospitality environment.
  • A positive attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and develop.
  • A strong understanding of security procedures, Health & Safety requirements and COSHH regulations.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with high emotional intelligence.
  • The ability to remain calm and effective when working under pressure.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Experience using Opera Cloud.
