Night Manager Retail Refurbishment
Location: Nottingham, travel to retail sites
Contract Length: 7 weeks
Start Date: 4th October 2026
End Date: 19th November 2026
Rate: £300 - £325 per night
Working Pattern: Sunday to Thursday, approximately 56 night shifts per week
Hours: Approximately 10:00pm - 5:00am
Sector: Food Retail / Retail Refurbishment
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Night Manager / Site Manager to oversee overnight retail refurbishment works.
The project will primarily involve ceiling replacement, requiring a confident site professional capable of managing subcontractors, coordinating trades, and ensuring the store is ready for trading following each shift.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage night-shift refurbishment works.
- Oversee ceiling replacement and associated works.
- Coordinate subcontractors and multiple trades.
- Monitor progress and productivity.
- Ensure health & safety procedures are followed.
- Manage site logistics and materials.
- Liaise with store management and project stakeholders.
- Inspect completed works and monitor quality.
- Resolve site issues and keep works moving.
- Complete shift reports and handovers.
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment.

Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Site Manager, Night Manager, or Site Supervisor.
- Retail fit-out / refurbishment experience.
- Experience within live operational environments.
- Strong subcontractor management experience.
- Ceiling / interior systems experience desirable.
- SMSTS / SSSTS preferred.
- CSCS card required.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Able to work Sunday-Thursday nights.
- Willing to travel between multiple retail locations.
