Location: Regent's Park, London (W1). Live-out.
Salary: £20 to £25 gross per hour, or £250 to £300 gross per 12-hour shift.
Working pattern: 6 nights per week, 12-hour shifts, 8pm to 8am, plus ad-hoc UK and European travel.
Contract: Fixed-term, up to 6 months, with break clause.
Start date: On or around 1 February 2027.
Oplu is leading the search for a Night Maternity Nurse, also known as a Specialist Night Nanny, for a warm same-sex couple welcoming their first baby in Regent's Park.
The parents are hands-on and want to stay that way. The core purpose of the role is to protect the parents' sleep, hold the night with confidence, and support a healthy feeding and sleep pattern from day one. This is not an outsourced-parenting position.

The Role
- 12-hour night coverage, 8pm to 8am, 6 nights per week.
- Primary responsibility for the baby overnight: feeding, settling, changing, comforting, and monitoring.
- Clean morning handovers to the parents, with a simple written or app-based log.
- Work collaboratively with parental feeding preferences and daytime rhythm.
- Bottle sterilising, nursery upkeep, and baby-related laundry as part of the night pattern.
- Accompany the family on ad-hoc travel, including a UK holiday home and short European trips.

Who You Are
- Experienced Night Maternity Nurse or Specialist Night Nanny with confirmed newborn placements for private families.
- Strong feeding and settling skills, with age-appropriate sleep-shaping experience for the first six months.
- Current Paediatric First Aid certification and Enhanced DBS on file, or willing to obtain.
- Warm, calm, collaborative, and comfortable working alongside hands-on parents.
- Experienced with, and willing to, travel alongside the family.
- Existing right to live and work in the UK.
- Available to start on or around 1 February 2027 for up to 6 months.
