Night Registered Veterinary Nurse – Medivet Woodstock 24 Hour Hospital
Location: Woodstock, Oxfordshire
Hours: 7 nights on / 14 nights off
Shift pattern: 7:45pm – 7:45am
Salary: Annual salary with paid annual leave, bank holidays and CPD leave

Medivet Woodstock is a busy 24-hour hospital and we are looking for a passionate and dedicated Night Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our night team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN who enjoys hospital nursing, emergency and critical care and providing high-quality out-of-hours care to our patients and their owners.
The role
You will work a 7 nights on, 14 nights off shift pattern, working from 7:45pm until 7:45am. During your week of nights, you will work alongside another member of our experienced Woodstock night nursing team. You will also have a Woodstock vet working alongside you, with our night vets working on a 1-in-4 rota.
We have two support nurses on call, providing an additional level of support to the overnight team. Our hospital has a varied and busy caseload, giving you the opportunity to care for a wide range of inpatients and emergency cases and to develop your clinical skills in a supportive hospital environment.
Previous emergency and critical care experience would be welcomed, but we are also interested in hearing from RVNs who have a strong interest in developing within a hospital setting.

The role is offered on an annual salary, meaning your salary is paid evenly throughout the year and includes your entitlement to:

You’ll also be joining a large and supportive nursing team at Woodstock, with the reassurance that you are never working completely alone overnight.

We have 4 well established night vets that operate on a 1 week on 3 weeks off rota.
