About the Role
The diversity of the product offering encompasses a 5-star hotel, with 192 rooms within the main Hotel and Villa accommodation, 11 meeting rooms, 3 golf courses, The Spa at Turnberry, and Turnberry Adventures across the grounds of the 800-acre resort. The property is owned and managed by The Trump Organisation.
Position Scope
The Night Operations Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service during overnight hours while ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and resort property. This role combines concierge, operational, and security duties, requiring a proactive, customer-focused individual who can respond effectively to guest needs, maintain resort standards, and handle security-related responsibilities with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services & Night Operations
- Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests, assisting with arrivals, departures, and luggage handling.
- Deliver concierge services including transport bookings, local area recommendations, and general guest assistance.
- Introduce guests to their rooms, explaining facilities, safety features, and promoting hotel services.
- Handle guest requests and resolve issues promptly to ensure a high-quality experience.
- Provide in-room dining service between 23:00 – 06:00, including order preparation and delivery.
- Maintain knowledge of regular guests and their preferences.

Security & Safety
- Monitor and operate CCTV, fire alarm, and security systems.
- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and assets.
- Respond to fire alarms, emergencies, and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle incident reporting and maintain accurate logs and documentation.
General Duties
- Maintain accurate records including shift logs, incident reports, and guest interactions.
- Uphold grooming standards and represent the resort professionally at all times.
- Assist with training and promoting health & safety awareness among staff.

Candidate Specification
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK is essential.
- Previous experience in a similar role (hospitality and/or security) is essential.
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (or willingness to obtain).
- First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- A valid, full UK Driving Licence (manual and automatic preferred).
- Flexible to work overnight, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong customer service skills with a commitment to delivering a high standard experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic technical or maintenance knowledge is advantageous.
- Ability to lift luggage and golf clubs in and out of cars/vans.
