Job Title: Night Porter
Salary: £31,281.76 per annum
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 44 hours per week, 4 days over 7
Live-in accommodation may be available for exceptional candidates.
This role is based on-site at Langdale Hotel and Spa, Ambleside, LA22 9JD.
Role Summary
Night Porters are responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for guests, coordinating support for residents throughout the night and responding to any emergencies that may arise in a calm and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- We are looking for a Night Porter to join the Estate Night Team who, under the guidance of the Night Manager, are responsible for smooth operation and security of the Estate.
- Deliver exceptional overnight guest service, responding promptly to requests, enquiries and issues while ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.
- Support the smooth operation of the Estate during the night, assisting with a variety of operational matters and resolving issues independently where appropriate.
- Prepare conference, meeting and event spaces to guest specifications, ensuring all rooms are presented to the highest standard and ready for use.
- Carry out night audits, security patrols and safety checks across the Estate, maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, staff and property.
- Provide overnight hospitality support, including serving refreshments, assisting with arrivals and departures, and maintaining the presentation of public areas.
- Act as the company's primary point of contact during the night shift, maintaining a professional and presentable appearance at all times to uphold the company's standards and image.
