Job Description:
a Night Porter
Overnight, critical work is underway whilst our guests enjoy the facilities and sleep easy. Your role as Night Porter is to take responsibility for the hotel during the night shift. You will be required to welcome our guests to the hotel in a friendly and helpful manner, ensure that the public areas are kept clean and tidy. You will be expected to assist guests with their luggage, be a point of contact for our guests and other responsibilities to ensure all requirements are met during our guests stay. You direct all telephone enquiries and provide room service during the night shift.
You will be passionate about hospitality. You will be organised, an excellent communicator, a hands-on person who has excellent attention to detail. It is necessary to have experience working in a front office department of a hotel of comparable quality, and it would be beneficial to have previous experience working with Opera. Night Porters must have passion for hospitality and deliver service with a smile.

Duties:
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the premises, including common areas, hallways, and restrooms
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Dust furniture and fixtures
- Restock supplies in restrooms and common areas
- Assist with moving furniture or equipment as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
Requirements:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the day
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
