Set in a stunning location overlooking the beach and newly refurbished, The Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott is currently recruiting for a dedicated Night Porter to join our team on a full-time basis. This vital role involves providing exceptional customer service during the night, ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of our guests and premises. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a professional demeanour, and experience within the hospitality industry.

Job Summary
- Welcome and assist guests arriving during the night, ensuring a warm and professional first impression
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while maintaining high standards of phone etiquette
- Respond promptly to guest enquiries, requests, and complaints with courtesy and professionalism
- Monitor security systems and conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises to ensure safety and security
- Ensure the lobby and public areas are clean, organised, and welcoming throughout the shift
- Assist with emergency procedures if required, including fire safety protocols and evacuation procedures

Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English to interact with guests and colleagues
- Strong organisational skills to efficiently manage guest requests
- Ability to work independently during night hours while maintaining vigilance and professionalism
- A friendly, approachable demeanour with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts on a rota basis
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to hotel operations is beneficial
