£13.21 per hour. 40 hours per week across 5 days.
Are you a night owl?
We're looking for a Night Porter to join our team — someone who's calm under pressure, always alert, and ready to keep the hotel running smoothly while the rest of the world sleeps.
The Role
You'll be the friendly face guests rely on overnight. Primarily, that means helping with luggage and travel arrangements, but the role is varied — you'll also support the wider night operation by meeting guest requests, from additional room amenities to serving food and drink.
You'll need to stay vigilant, keeping the hotel safe through the night, and flexible enough to adapt as the shift unfolds. Using your initiative, you'll also help prepare the hotel for the day ahead.
We want people who bring their own personality to the job - who go beyond what's expected and create moments guests remember long after they've checked out.

Working Hours
We're open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, so we need team members who can work flexibly across a range of shifts and days. We're generally busiest in the evenings and at weekends, but shift patterns and contracted hours can all be discussed at interview.
About the Hotel
voco Zeal Exeter Science Park sits at the entrance to Exeter Science Park, home to the South West's leading science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine businesses. This premium 4-star hotel features 142 stylish bedrooms, a restaurant and bar showcasing local produce, a mini gym, gardens and versatile meeting space. The hotel is 100% electric, with a car park offering 12 EV charging points.
