Night Porter at Casa Mere Knutsford
AG Hotels is looking for a dedicated Night Porter to join our team at Casa Mere Knutsford.
The candidate must be available to work weekends and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete the night shift handover and check all important information.
- Monitor the hotel throughout the night, ensuring guest safety and security.
- Carry out regular security checks of the building, entrances, corridors and public areas.
- Assist guests with late check-ins, enquiries and requests.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally.
- Manage late-night arrivals and departures, ensuring a smooth guest experience.
- Serve guests at the hotel bar and ensure excellent customer service.
- Prepare breakfast areas and assist with breakfast set-up for the morning team.
- Monitor and respond to fire alarms and other emergencies, following hotel procedures.
- Complete night audit and reception duties as required.
- Answer telephone calls and deal with guest enquiries during the night.
- Keep the reception, bar and public areas clean, tidy and presentable.
- Carry out basic cleaning duties, including corridors, the lobby and other communal areas.
- Prepare the hotel for the morning team, including breakfast preparation and set-up where required.
- Record incidents, maintenance issues and guest complaints in the handover or logbook.
- Ensure all doors and access points are secure and report any concerns immediately.
- Follow all hotel health and safety, fire safety and security procedures.
- Maintain a professional, friendly and helpful attitude towards guests and colleagues at all times.
