Night Porter / Cleaner
Location: Kennington Lane, with occasional flexibility to work at Great Portland Street
Hours: Part-time - 24 hours per week (3 nights)
Salary: £18,995 per annum (£15.22 per hour)
Contract: Permanent
International Students House (ISH) is looking for a reliable and hardworking Night Porter / Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our residents.
Working as part of our Housekeeping and Operations teams, you’ll carry out cleaning and portering duties across our residential and communal areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and public spaces. You’ll also help with tasks such as changing bedding, moving furniture, dealing with spillages, waste disposal and reporting maintenance or other issues.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Able to work independently and follow instructions
- Thorough, with good attention to detail
- Comfortable carrying out physical duties, including standing, bending and lifting
- Aware of basic health and safety and cleaning procedures
- Able to communicate clearly and report any issues to managers
Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a hotel, halls of residence or similar environment, would be an advantage.
