This summer, we opened the doors to our fully re-imagined hotel, The Imperial – a new lifestyle offering within our portfolio. With 357 bedrooms, multiple dining venues, a workout studio, and destination rooftop bar, this will be a new beacon, bang in the heart of Bloomsbury, London.
About The Role
We're looking for a sharp, calm, and guest-focused Night Receptionist to keep our hotel running smoothly while the city sleeps. You'll be the reassuring overnight presence that delivers seamless service, keeps guests safe, and ensures every detail is ready for the next day.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage night operations confidently, ensuring smooth handovers and consistent standards.
- Use Opera, Knowcross, and Micros systems to support guest arrivals, departures, and overnight tasks.
- Complete income audits, safety checks, and early-morning call requests.
- Deliver warm, attentive service – checking guests in/out, assisting with luggage, and providing information.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across public areas during quieter periods.
- Resolve guest requests and issues with confidence, professionalism, and urgency.
- Support the night team with coaching, service delivery, and departmental procedures.

Who You Are
- Experienced in customer-facing roles, confident resolving issues face-to-face or over the phone.
- Calm under pressure, attentive, and able to communicate clearly in English (CEFR B2).
- Skilled with MS Office and comfortable learning hotel systems.
- Bonus: Opera/PMS experience, strong admin skills, and hospitality training.
