Night Security Concierge – Dartford Homeless Hostel
We have ongoing job opportunities for Night Security Concierge jobs in Dartford to support residents, ensure safety overnight, and make a real difference in our hostel team.
We are looking for a Night Security Concierge in Dartford to join our dedicated team at a homeless hostel. This role is ideal for someone compassionate, reliable, and experienced in working with vulnerable adults. As a Night Security Concierge, you will provide essential overnight support, maintain safety, and ensure a welcoming environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to residents during the night, responding to needs and concerns.
- Challenge and monitor anti-social behaviour to keep the hostel safe.
- Carry out regular security checks and monitor CCTV.
- Implement emergency procedures if required.
- Keep communal areas and office spaces clean and presentable.
- Record nightly events and prepare accurate reports for the day team.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults, ideally in a homeless or supported housing setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- DBS check required.
Desirable
- First Aid or Mental Health First Aid training.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Valid SIA Badge.
- Experience supporting people with complex needs.
