Job Description

We have ongoing job opportunities for a Night Security Concierge to support our Homeless Hostel services across Greenwich Southeast London. We are looking for reliable, professional individuals with experience in security, concierge, or night support roles. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and wellbeing of residents during night shifts while representing our organisation with professionalism and empathy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a welcoming and professional presence to residents.
  • Monitor CCTV, respond to alarms, and maintain a secure environment.
  • Prevent security breaches and manage unauthorised access.
  • Record and manage incidents, ensuring accurate incident logging.
  • Respond calmly to challenging situations using de-escalation techniques.
  • Complete the Daily Occurrence Log to a high standard.
  • Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and positive engagement with residents.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 in Support, Health & Social Care (preferred).
  • Enhanced DBS (or SIA Licence as alternative).
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a similar night security or concierge role.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.
