Located in Knightsbridge on the edge of Hyde Park, Bvlgari Hotel London is one of the capital’s most distinguished luxury destinations, renowned for its Italian craftsmanship, contemporary elegance, and uncompromising standards. Since opening in 2012, the hotel has set the benchmark for luxury hospitality in London — and behind every exceptional guest experience is a dedicated team committed to safety, discretion, and service at the highest level.

We are looking for a Night Security Officer to join our Security team on a 4 on, 4 off rotation, primarily working overnight shifts, while maintaining flexibility to support day shifts as required by the business. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the safety and security of the hotel and everyone within it, around the clock.

Reporting to the Head of Security and Safety, you will be a calm, reliable, and highly professional presence across the property. You will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment for guests, residents, and colleagues, patrolling all areas of the hotel, monitoring CCTV systems, controlling access points, and responding promptly to any incidents or emergencies during the night.

This is a hands-on role in a 24/7 operation where attention to detail, discretion, and sound judgment are critical. You will combine strong security awareness with excellent guest service, playing a key role in maintaining a safe environment while delivering a professional and approachable service to guests.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
