ROLE EXPECTATIONS
You will be the reassuring overnight presence for residents and visitors, protecting people, property and peace of mind. Most nights you’ll patrol internal and external areas, manage access control at the front desk, respond to incidents, and support the concierge with resident-focused service.
What Success Looks Like
- You maintain a visible, professional presence that makes residents feel safe and welcome.
- You manage access and contractor movements accurately, with impeccable log-keeping.
- You identify and resolve risks early, escalating promptly and appropriately.
- You respond calmly and effectively to alarms, incidents and medical emergencies.
- You keep communal areas secure and immaculate, working closely with concierge and FM teams.
- You build strong rapport with residents, balancing firm security standards with warm service.

How You'll Spend Most Of Your Time
- Conducting regular internal and external patrols, recording findings and actions.
- Monitoring CCTV, managing access control systems and issuing passes/keys.
- Handling incidents, alarms and emergencies in line with site procedures.
- Completing clear, concise nightly reports and handovers.
- Supporting concierge services after hours, including resident queries and deliveries.
- Liaising with contractors and the on-call management team to ensure safe night operations.

Experience That Helps
- Previous experience in residential or front-of-house security environments.
- Confidence using CCTV, access control and incident reporting systems.
- Experience managing emergencies and first response situations.
- An SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding licence.
- Familiarity with large, mixed-use developments or estate patrols.

Interview focused on your approach to resident service, incident response, access control, and working safely and reliably on night shifts
