Shift times: 7:45pm - 8:15pm
Hourly Rate: £15.61/hr (Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays and Overtime)

Beeches is a warm and welcoming 13-bed residential home supporting adults with physical and learning disabilities. Located within beautiful grounds in Mirfield, our focus is on creating a genuine home environment where people are encouraged to live as independently as possible, communicate in ways that work for them, and enjoy meaningful lives within their local community.

About The Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you'll lead by example, providing high-quality person-centred support while helping to guide and develop a team of Support Workers.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who already has experience within social care and has previously supervised, coached or line-managed staff.
You'll work closely with the management team to ensure excellent standards of care, communication and support are maintained across the service.
What You'll Be Doing
- Promoting independence, choice and dignity at every opportunity.
- Leading shifts and acting as a role model for the wider team.
- Supervising, mentoring and supporting night support workers.
- Contributing to care planning, risk assessments and service documentation.
- Building positive relationships with families, professionals and colleagues.
- Ensuring the home remains a safe, welcoming and respectful environment.
What We're Looking For
We're particularly interested in hearing from candidates who:
- Have significant experience working in adult social care.
- Are confident leading and motivating teams.
- Have previous supervisory or line management experience.
- Understand person-centred support and positive risk-taking.
- Are passionate about promoting independence and choice.
- Have excellent communication skills and can support non-verbal communication methods.
- Remain calm, compassionate and professional in challenging situations.
- Share our values of dignity, respect and inclusion.

We will pay for your initial DBS check, unless you have a portable DBS, however, if the candidate leaves voluntarily within the first 12 months, £58.90 will be deducted from your final salary payment.
